Board Representation
Having a strong and committed Board is key to the success of many companies, as Board members bring valuable and hard earned experience and expertise to your business, as well as networks of relevant contacts cultivated over many years.
Mention the phrase "board of directors" to the average person, and they are likely to conjure up images of nicely dressed men and women standing around a mahogany table, smiling congenially. This is entirely understandable; many annual reports prominently feature glossy photographs of just such a scene. Our primary responsibility however is to protect the shareholders' assets and ensure they receive a decent return on their investment.
It is also important to note that appointing a board member does not necessarily mean that you have to part with shareholding.
